Data privacy
Data protection declaration
Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.
1. Access data and hosting
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time a website is called up, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file which, for example, contains the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call, the amount of data transmitted and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.
These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our services. Pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR, this serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which predominate within the scope of a balancing of interests. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.
2. Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a customer account
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in connection with your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such, since in these cases we require the data for contract processing, or for processing your contact or opening of the customer account, and you cannot complete the order and/or the account opening or cannot send the contact without their information. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data provided by you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and processing your enquiries. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the storage periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can take place either via a message to the contact possibility described below or via a function intended for it in the customer account.
3. Data transfer
In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for the processing of payments to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. The data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.
4. E-mail newsletter
E-mail advertising with registration for the newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately communicated by you in order to regularly send you our e-mail newsletter on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. After deregistration, we delete your e-mail address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
The newsletter is sent within the framework of a processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your e-mail address for this purpose.
This service provider is based in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. As a result of this agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
5. Cookies and web analysis
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research purposes, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests. Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis
If you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (www.google.de) for the purpose of website analysis. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is reduced prior to transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymous IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. After the end of the use of Google Analytics by us the data collected in this context will be deleted.
Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. As a result of this agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. This prevents the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.

Embedded YouTube videos
YouTube uses so-called “cookies” to collect information. Cookies can be used to store information about the computer or user who is viewing a video. Among other things, YouTube uses cookies to collect reliable video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness.
Advertising via marketing networks
Google AdWords Remarketing
We use Google Adwords to advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. If you have given us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google when you visit our website, which automatically uses a pseudonym CookieID and on the basis of the pages you have visited enables interest-based advertising. After the end of the use of Google AdWords Remarketing by us the data collected in this context will be deleted.
Any additional processing will only take place if you have agreed with Google that your web and app browsing history will be linked to your Google Account and information from your Google Account will be used to personalize ads you see on the web. If you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. To this end, Google temporarily links your personal data with Google Analytics data to form target groups.
Google AdWords Remarketing is a service of Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. As a result of this agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating the remarketing cookie via this link. You can also contact the Digital Advertising Alliance to find out how to set cookies and to make the relevant settings.
Google AdWords und Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
In the context of Google AdWords we use the so-called Conversion Tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser places on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the Conversion Cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. Customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under User Settings. They are then not included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, please see Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Facebook Pixels
We use the Facebook pixel of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. So-called tracking pixels are integrated on our pages. When you visit our pages, the pixel-code establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server.
Facebook receives information from your browser, among other things, that our page has been called up by your terminal device. If you are a Facebook user, Facebook can associate your visit to our pages with your account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of their use by Facebook. We can only choose which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) our advertising should be displayed.
By calling up the pixel from your browser, Facebook can also recognize whether a Facebook ad was successful, e.g. whether it led to an online purchase. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes.
Please click here if you do not wish to have data collected via Facebook pixels: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads#_=_. Alternatively, you can disable the Facebook pixel on the Digital Advertising Alliance page by clicking the following link: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
The transfer of data to the USA is permitted under Art. 45 DSGVO, as Facebook Privacy Shield is certified and therefore has an adequate level of data protection according to the implementing decision of the Commission (EU) 2016/1250 (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016D1250&from=DE). The certification can be viewed at https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active.
The legal basis is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO, namely the pursuit of our business purposes, namely the targeted advertising of our services.
Sending evaluation reminders by e-mail
If you have given us your express consent to this during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address as a reminder to submit an evaluation of your order via the evaluation system used by us.

If the processing takes place for other purposes, you are only entitled to a right of objection if there are reasons arising from your particular situation.
After exercising your right of objection, we will not process your personal data further for these purposes, unless we can prove compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing, which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
